"Chumon no Ooi Tenrankai- Multiple Requests Gallery.” starts by getting requests.
Many order forms with subjects and their episodes arrive from everywhere in Japan.
The artist herself bears the expense of the art works.

"A hairpin from my mom.” or "A boring food that I have been eating almost every day.”
and "My treasure frog doll that my fiance gave me instead of an engagement ring.”
A man even sent Rica Takashima a memorial item of his ex-wife. A woman who wants to be a baker sent Rica her cake itself. Each requested subject is unique and has its own unique story, but overall the finished artworks convey feelings such as recent, decisions.　 On the other hand, some hip stuff such as Pricla(print club), a small seal picture, will be a valuable time document in ten years.

She used to work in the advertising industry and worked for various TV commercials and magazines. Thus, she is used to receiving orders from clients and she knows the pleasure of showing her work to many people through the media. However, she feels her lifework is responding to people whom she really met.　 She does not take job offers from the ad industry any more no matter how much they offer.

"I feel like a news photographer, recording one picture at a time” says Rica. She keeps a number of requests and handles them gently one by one.　 A person could order "A mother’s picture when she was still in a good health”because he felt confidence in Rica.　 The first thing she said　 at this interview, was "I want to be of a great help to others.”
