~"AOZORA ART" in Harajyuku ~
Exhibition of a Piece of Work from Artists every Sunday evening
Rica Takashima of Suginami, Tokyo (who is a director of a group of artists) and other artists exhibit their works every Sunday from 1- 4 on Harajyuku Hokoten (pedestrian street). Although an exhibition on 25th will be the last for this year, it will be revived on late January next year, and will last till June. An active illustrator Rica Takashima not only illustrates but also deals with making costumes for musicals and designs CD jackets.
She wants more people to be interested in art through this "AOZORA ART".
In addition to the azure sky art, the artists draw a sketch for pedestrians.
She said that because of the variety of art events, many people come back again. She hopes that many more people will enjoy this "AOZORA ART".
