MUTTS, monthly magazine, January 2002, magazine house "Hokoten Art turned into chat! Theme is communication, *Match Match Planet*" Visiting the happy joyful creative scene! This time it is "SO-NET" (Sony Communication Network), always packed full of many cool and joyful contents. What kind of chat game is "Match Match Planet" we heard from words of mouth? We interviewed Nakaji Kimura, producer of MMP. While we were looking at the monitor, something cheerful happened on the screen. Ms.uu and Ms.Mutts, visiting So-Net, tried "MMP." This chat game through the internet is full of gorgeous illustrations made by artist Rica Takashima. In this MMC, there are so many functions by which you can enjoy chatting freely with somebody somewhere, getting points and changing the clothes. We found someone named "Suminoji" saying "Come on!" waiting for somebody to chat with right away. This "Suminoji"could be.....? Mutts decided to chat immediately. Everybody becomes friends all at once Suminoji: Hi! Mutts: Hi there! are U artist Rica Takashima drawing these illustrations? Suminoji: yes! smile* :) Fransoi: morning...i m Fransoi, may i get in? Mutts: sure sure. Suminoji >Rica, Why U Suminoji? Suminoji: its my handle name. hehehe... Fra> where are U from? Fransoi: i m in Higashimurayama city. Suminoji: i m in NY now. Mutts: i m in So-Net, Shinagawa uu: Hi!! im uu, illustrator too. Fransoi: wow! many creators! mmmmm? i just got 8points! Mutts: we can get the points while we chat! Kimura: sorry for being late...i m Kimura, just coming here...U can buy stuff like clothes and also give it to other players as a present *grin Mutts: i m really enjoying this chat game! its visual sense is really cool. i cant help keeping it. i heard that we can try other functions like matching and fortunetelling...what are they? Kimura: YES! 4 U, this chat game searches exact the person you would love, scanning from the data of key words you used while chatting. Mutts: Gosh! i wanna meet my right man right now! (LOL) by the way, i have questions! Suminoji> U first did your art activity on the street, right? Suminoji: yeah, it was on Harajuku Hokoten Pedestrian Street. i create "Kaodoshi kun (Peek-a-Boo) board", then i take photos of many people with this "Kaodashi Kun." Fransoi: WOW, thats Harajuku Hokoten? Kimura: communication art, right? Suminoji: i v continued for about 8,9 years. uu: Sooooooo many years! Mutts: do you have a specific model for the "Kaodashi kun" you re wearing now? Suminoji: yeah, she is a woman named "Miura" i met in Aomori before. Mutts: by the way, how come did this communication art connect to this chat? Kimura: i was looking for the nice illustrations to create graphic lively chat. Mutts: then U met Sumi. uu: fate? Suminoji: right. ;) uu: keyword is communication! Mutts: i love this. i can customize my character. Fransoi: humm, humm. same same Kimura: U can identify any character you want. Fransoi: i wanna try another "Kaodashi kun" Kumura: oookay, why not! Changing character makes things funner uu: the more customized the character, the more fun! Mutts: we cant stop chatting for hours and hours! BUT, we must close up once for editing.....sad uu: pretty pity...sigh Mutts: say something lastly *Suminoji, Fransoi Fransoi: it was a fantastic time here. i m veeery happy!
